NEW ROOTS: Fresh Stops
Four Fresh Stops in 2013Thanks to the support of our wonderful communities, New Roots has continued to grow. We are pleased to announce the addition of the Wellington location to the 2013 Fresh Stop Season.
Our Fresh Stops are open to everyone. Some operate on a sliding scale. Produce shares are ordered one to two weeks in advance and are full of the bounty of Kentuckiana's seasonal produce. Shares will be available for pickup every Wednesday from 5pm - 7pm in the garden of 4UMC. Shares are priced at $12 per week or $6 for low-income households. Season operates on alternating Thursdays, 4:30-6:30 PM. Shares are $12 for EBT/Food Stamp recipients or anyone qualifying for low-income eligibility using current WIC guidelines, and $25 for all others.
